THE RECYCLE CHALLENGE PARADE AND FESTIVAL (TRCPF) will present its 2nd annual multi-sensory, sustainable pop-up experience at St. Roch Market. Two days of vending will be on April 22nd (1pm-10pm) and 23rd 5pm-10pm), 2023 in New Orleans, LA. The Recycle Challenge promotes and encourages artists, both local and international, to incorporate green and sustainable practices into their finished works. This unique showcase brings together a diverse audience of attendees and vendors. Everything promotes adventure and creative innovation to reducing trash pollution, through recycling and repurposing wearable paper dresses, giant upcycled installations, puppets, banners, garden sculptures and more! *** Turning Artistic Expression into a socio-environmental consciousness *** TRCPF is a hybrid, multi-sensory experience spanning SIX days. Engaging nightly activities and one full day (Saturday) showcasing local artists, vendors, dancers, musicians, & more. This programming is intentional, blending the rich cultural stories from a New Orleans perspective.  Over the weekend, one can expect sustainable fashion shows, Recycle Artists in street studios, garden sculptures made from recycled furniture and pallets, and much more. Recycling in new, creative ways! The theme of THE RECYCLE CHALLENGE revolves around family & inclusive community, with a special emphasis on uplifting the stories and cultures of BIPOC.

Vendor Agreement

Welcome Vendors!! Are you an artist who hand makes, redesigns, upcycles or brands your products as environmental conscious, earth-friendly, natural, or vintage and etc. You get the idea! We would enjoy having your artwork, jewelry, candles, clothing or other products be featured at our 2nd AnnualTHE RECYCLE CHALLENGE PARADE & FESITVAL. If, you can't attend we will have a virtual experience. An event with cool vibes, people friendly and family friendly. Visit our webpage for vendor benefits and information before proceeding with your application. We will be in contact with you after your application has been submitted. Expect Rules and Regulations, and Guidelines. Two Days of Vending: Saturday1pm to 10pm / Set up 10am to 12:30 Sunday 5pm to 10pm / Set up 3pm to 4:30pm HAVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS READY TO SUBMIT AT 1. Logo (JPEG/ PNG) 2. Photos of your products 3. Add Instagram handle 4. MANDATORY: picture or drawing of your planned booth or stall. Must include recycled/repurposed/sustainable items. 5. One headshot. COVID UPDATE Although, the pandemic has eased up greatly. We ask vendors and visitors traveling to the City of New Orleans should take personal responsibility to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, by assessing the individual risk of attending large and/or crowded gatherings, considering face coverings in public, and staying up to date on vaccinations. NOTICE Vendors and visitors are required to present vaccinations, 72 hours of negative tests, and masks are not mandatory

Refund Policy

As a fundraiser for Literacy Project International aka Whose Magazine? A Youth Publication. The fiscal agent is CCI (Collaborative Community Initiative) of New Orleans. There are no refunds however, a credit is provided. In the event that the date is rained out, activities move to the next day.
